Rankin AI used to show you the pages AI cites. Now it helps you get your brand onto them. This release adds Link-building for AI Visibility and a 7-day trial on every plan. The app got smoother too.

Link-building for AI Visibility

AI doesn't pick brands out of a hat. It builds answers from pages it already trusts, like listicles and comparisons, and names the brands it finds there. If you're not on those pages, your odds of showing up in the answer drop a lot.

How an AI answer actually gets built: 1) A buyer asks AI; 2) AI reads pages it trusts; 3) AI answers names who's on those pages.

Until now, Rankin AI showed you all cited pages for your tracked prompts. And that was where it stopped. Now we help you get on them.

How it works

1. Open Sources and find the pages AI cites for your prompts.
2. Click “Get a quote” on an eligible page. Add the page you want linked, plus a note for the editor if you have one. And send us your request.
3. We find the editor and ask them to name your brand in the article, with a link to your site. We negotiate price and get back to you with an offer.
4. You get the publisher's price by email, usually within 5 to 7 business days. Reply to go ahead, and we take it from there.

If the publisher doesn't sell placements or never replies, you'll hear from us anyway. You can track every request in Sources, and the new Quote filter puts them all in one place.

What it costs

Asking for a quote is free, no strings attached. We don't add a fee on top. You pay the publisher's price, and we haggle to get it as low as we can. You only pay once the link is live and we've checked it.

Which pages are eligible

Get a quote works on listicles, articles, comparisons, alternatives pages, and how-to guides. It's switched off on your own domain, and anywhere there's no editor to pitch, like review directories, social networks, wikis, or forums. Hover over an inactive button to see why.

Your allowance

Your plan includes a set number of quote requests each month, and the Get a quote form shows how many you have left. One request covers one page, so five pages on the same domain use five requests. Unused requests don't roll over. The count resets with your other monthly limits.

It works in Brand projects, not Pitch projects. Once a prospect turns into a client Brand project, you can use it there.

Every plan now starts with a 7-day trial

Every Individual and Agency plan now starts with a 7-day trial. You get to test every feature before you pay, Link-building for AI Visibility included. You'll need a card to start, but we only charge it when the trial ends. Cancel before that, and you pay nothing. Trial usage limits apply.

• Switch plans mid-trial. Move to another plan of the same type, say from Ranger to Pathfinder.
• Start early. Hit a trial limit? Start your paid plan right away and unlock its full limits.

There's one trial per account owner.

If you cancel, or a payment doesn't go through, your workspace turns view-only. Your data stays put. You just can't change anything.

And if you were on our free Scout plan: we've retired it. Your brand and data are still there, and tracking picks up again as soon as you start a trial on any plan. Compare plans.
